What started as a service station back in the early ’30s has been transformed into The Filling Station!

Great grub, growlers, and gas is our motto and we are stickin’ to it ?

Amherst county hasn’t had this many craft beer choices ever and we aim to keep it hoppin’…no pun intended. The Filling Station sports bar & grill, gas, and beer shop near you in Amherst, VA is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and an ice-cold craft beer.

Come by and enjoy something delicious from the menu of our sports bar and grill. We carry a selection of scrumptious burgers, sandwiches, and snacks that go perfectly with a cold beverage. Try one of our signature burgers like our Octane Burger, our variation of the Cheesy Western, with bacon and served on Texas toast. Also, check out our daily specials. We regularly offer Shrimp Po Boys and Brisket sandwiches. Although the Kristen Burger is not on the menu, just ask and we will make you one. This favorite ‘hidden’ menu item is a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, jalapeños, & BBQ sauce.

We are also well known for our selection of domestic and craft beers as well as ciders. We always have 12 different beverages on tap and a large 8 door cooler with a wide range of unique beers and ciders. We fill and re-fill growlers and offer The Filling Station growlers for $24.99.
